ESTATE PLANNING
Protecting and transferring what you've built.
Estate planning isn't just for the ultra-wealthy. If you have over $500k in assets, a business, or a family, you need a plan - and most people don't have one.
What We Do (and What We Don't)
I don't draft legal documents - that's your estate attorney's job. I coordinate with your attorney to ensure your financial plan, investment accounts, insurance policies, and estate documents all tell the same story.
The Four Things Every Family Needs
At minimum: a will, a durable power of attorney, a healthcare directive, and up-to-date beneficiary designations. Most people have at least one of these missing or outdated. I audit your situation and flag the gaps.
Trust Planning
Revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable remainder trusts - I help you understand which structures make sense and why, then coordinate with your attorney on implementation.
Beneficiary Designations
Retirement accounts and life insurance pass outside your will. An outdated beneficiary designation can undo years of careful estate planning. Regular reviews ensure your designations stay current as your life changes.
